Some of you who used to contact me through Facebook may be wondering why you can't contact me through Facebook anymore. Well the reason is, that I deleted my personal and also the account associated with this website.
In my heart I new I would eventually leave Facebook, it was on the cards for a few years. The main reason I left is because Facebook is an ungodly place to hangout. Most days when I'd log into Facebook I'd come across posts that were contrary to my beliefs as a Christian. I assumed I could edit what I seen on Facebook by deleting so called Facebook friends who posted offending images and spoke unchristian views. Well I did delete probably half of my so called friends but the images kept appearing, a friend of a friend would like this or that and it showed up on my page, so I'd delete the offending item. This became too much so I left Facebook. Some would say that most people have to put up with offending stuff on Facebook on a daily basic and it doesn't effect them too much. That maybe the case for some, but when you're a true believer and come across unchristian remarks and images each day, it can hit you like a ton of bricks. Your heart just sinks, it's difficult to describe the feeling, but I'm sure other true believers will know that sinking feeling.

Wilhelmus is the national anthem for The Netherlands. The tin whistle notes are in the key of G Major, just the F is sharp. Back to thetin whistle sheet music section .
Diamantina Drover was recorded by Redgum and by Christy Moore among many others. The sheet music for tin whistle is in the key of G and suitable for the D whistle. Thanks to Alison from The Mudcat Cafe for the notes to the song. Back to the tin whistle sheet music .
This tune was requested for the tin whistle but when I checked it out I found it either went too high or too low for the whistle. I found the notes over at The Session website. Those who read sheet music will see that this version for 4 string banjo has a low C note which means it not suitable for whistle unless you fake it. I'll leave it here in case banjo players want to try it out. It's tuned GDAE.
This song is also known as Were All Part Of Jackies Army. It's an Irish football [ soccer ] song. If your looking for the sheet music for the main verse and chorus then it uses the same tune as God Save Ireland which is in the tin whistle section of the site. Where it says ''We're All Part Of Jackies Army'' is the same as the chorus in God Save Ireland Lyrics And Chords. If you can't figure it out give me a shout and I'll do it for you. Also recorded by Mundy in 2016.

Words and music by Mick Curry. Recorded by Christy Moore. Return to mylist of Christy Moore Songs . He was [G]Lawless by name, [C]Lawless by [G]nature, He was trouble [C]right from the [G]start. [Am]Hard as nails, runnin' [C]wild through the streets He was [G]breakin' his poor mother's [D]heart. [Am]Nature played a [D]trick on Lawless and the [G]humour of nature is [D]cruel[G]. He grew up as we [C]all had ex[G]pected - into a [D]dangerous [G]fool. [G]He was a hard man, a [C]man for all [G]seasons, He was always [D]out for a [G]fight. He [Am]couldn't hold drink but [C]still he'd get plastered in[G] Clark's every Saturday [D]night, He's[Am]strip to the vest and [D]challenge the [C]best until the [G]Guards they were called to come [D]fast, and they'd [G]lock him away for the [C]rest of the [G]day and let him out on the Sun[D]day for [G]Mass. [G]Oh one night he went down to the [C]Ringsend Re[G]gatta where he met up with the [D]bold Dolly [G]Platts She [Am]wasn't exactly [D]what you'd call [C]beauty, but [G]she was the belle of our [D]flats. A [Am]whirlwind romance and [D]Dolly took a [C]flier with [G]Lawless she would settle [D]down It was [G]pure coincidence [C]three months be[G]fore there was a yankee des[C]troyer in [G]town. [G][Am][C][Am][C][D] Oh now [G]Lawless stays in and looks [C]after his [G]baby while Dolly goes [Am]out for the [G]night. The old [Am]gossips all say she's [D]free in her [C]ways and [G]their evil rumours ran [D]rife. When [Am]Lawless heard this he waited for [C]Dolly in the [G]bridge where the river runs [D]low. No[G]one will ever know [C]what happened [G]next, but Dolly drowned in the [C]water be[G]low. [G]Some say he's crazy and [C]more say he's [G]evil, everyone [D]says that he's [G]mad. No[Am]one will defend him, [D]he was no [C]angel, but I'll [G]tell you he wasn't all [D]bad. They've [Am]locked him away for the[D] rest of his [C]natural [G]never again will he [D]see down the [G]back of Ringsend there's a [C]lonely child [G]playing where the Liffey flows [D]into the [G]sea.
This tin whistle sheet music is for a French Childrens counting song. It's in the key of G but with most of the songs on the site it can be played on the D whistle. Return to the tin whistle sheet music .

Oblivious was written and recorded by singer / songwriter by Mick Blake. It was recorded in 2016 by Christy Moore [ song words ] and is on Christy's latest album ''Lily''. The song is a dig at some Irish people who vote for the same political parties during every general election.
Chorus What will it take to make us angry ? Where is the spark to light our flame ? We've been sold out taken in yet blindly We'll do it all again, we'll fuel that grave train, oblivious, it's like were oblivious We stick with the tribe and we stand by our man Whipped into shame by this great master plan Stuck in a spiral still fighting an old civil war The men and the women of nineteen sixteen Risked their lives for a national dream A hundred years later and what was it all for Hear their voices resounding Calling to me and to you All that they dreamed for and died for Has been squandered by scoundrels and fools Is this the best we can do. What will it take to make us angry ? Where is that line that can't be crossed We've been sold out taken in yet blindly We'll do it all again, we'll fuel that grave train, oblivious, it's like were oblivious. So when they give all that you treasure away for a pittance Or banish your children to toil on a rich foreign shore When they prey on the weakest and bow to the ones that have plenty They know that you'll follow blindly as you did before. Imagine a nation where people are free not slaves to some gombeenman economy Sold into bondage one ill fated September night, where smooth talking sleeveens don't spin and pretend Their promises not just a means to an end and justice isn't what's legal It's what is right But the king of Islandeady echoes the cries of the clown Heaps pain on the sick and needy to soften the Ice-maiden's frown And we take it all lying down Here's the guitar chords for the Mick Blake version Chorus [C]What will it take [F]to make us [C]angry[F] ?
