This song was recorded by Brendan Grace and Patsy Watchorn with The Dublin City Ramblers and later with The Dubliners. It was also recorded by Tara Folk, The Emigrants and by North Sea Gas. Ringsend is a working class area about a mile from the city center with Irishtown beside it.
