🎸 2. Strumming Pattern
A steady folk march strum works best — simple, heartfelt, and rhythmic.

Pattern (per measure):

↓ ↓↑ ↑↓↑

Count:

1 2& &4&

Tips:

Keep the motion steady and even, slightly accenting beats 2 and 4.

Use light palm muting on the bass strings for a marching feel.

In the chorus, strum stronger and fuller for lift.

For a gentler verse, you can alternate one downstroke per chord to let the words shine.

🎶 3. Fingerpicking Tab for All Verses
Style: Travis picking (thumb alternating bass)

Thumb (T) = alternating bass (E–D for G, A–D for C, D–G for D)

Index (I) = G string

Middle (M) = B string

Pattern:

T – I – T – M
