With Or Without You Tin Whistle Notes

Written by Bono and recorded by U2. This was a request as I generally don't do whistle notes for rock songs. The tune sort of repeats itself all the way through the song varying from time to time but what I have done is basically the gist of how it goes. As far as I know U2 play this much lower starting with an F# note, but if I had of worked it out that way I would have run out of notes on the whistle as it goes down to the low A note which you can't play on a whistle. If I had of started in the higher octave using F# as a starter the tune would have went too high. So I decided to start in middle B with the lowest being the D.  If you're playing another instrument such as the piano, then I have now added the full song sheet music score.

The above tab goes too high for the tin whistle on the next line, so I left it out.

If you listen to U2 playing this you'd think it was very complicated to play. There's a lot of music going on throughout the song but when you strip it down to it's bones to play the lead notes it's as easy as playing twinkle twinkle little star. On a scale of 1 to 10 on how difficult it is to play whistle tunes this one is about 2 with 10 being the most complex. You'll find that with a lot of pop / rock songs.
Below is the easy to follow letter notes in case you don't read music. It's also suitable for the flute , recorder or any lead instrument.

The lower case letters are the high notes past middle B.
