The Evelyn Marie song lyrics and guitar chords

As sang by Conal Gallen. Guitar chords by Marc Fahrbach. The Evelyn Marie was lost 7th January 1975 of the coast of Donegal near Ratlin. The crew of 7 men were all drown. A fine tribute to our brave fishermen. Donegal Danny Song is something on the same lines as this song as the story unfolds off the North coast of Ireland, but I'm not sure if Donegal Danny is a true story like this is.
C-C-Em-Am

T’was a (C)cold winter’s day and the (F)seas they did (C)roar
When six bold fishermen made their (Em)way to the (Am)shore.
Said good(C)bye to their friends and their (F)loved ones so (G)dear
And (C)they went a fishing from (Em)Burtonport (Am)pier.
They were (C)carefree and proud as they (F)sailed out to (G)sea
On a (F)fine fishing (C)vessel called the (F)Evelyn Ma(C)rie.

C-C-Em-Am

But (C)as they returned with their (F)catch for the (C)day
Through the treacherous waters of (Em)Donegal (Am)Bay.
The (C)joy on their faces was (F)soon turned to (G)grief
When off (C)Rathlinoburin their (Em)boat hit a (Am)reef.
She (C)quickly broke up and (F)sank in the (G)sea
And six (F)crew men went (C)down with the (F)Evelyn Ma(C)rie.

C-C-Em-Am

Now the (C)news quickly spread all a(F)long the north (C)west
That the crews on the lifeboats were (Em)doin’ their (Am)best.
As the (C)winds they grew stronger and the (F)rain it did (G)pour
While the (C)locals they searched all a(Em)long Malin(Am)more.
And as (C)daybreak shone out it was (F)plain for to (G)see
That there (F)were no sur(C)vivors on the (F)Evelyn Ma(C)rie.
