Little House On The Prairie Painting
The little house on the prairie acrylic painting of the house and surrounding land at the back of the little cabin. The house featured in the television program in the 1970's and was the home of the Ingalls family. All of my family watched the family show on a Sunday afternoon in Ireland. The painting also includes the dog, the outside toilet, a stack of hay, some chopped wood and the washing on the line. The loft is where the two girls, Mary and Laura were supposed to sleep. The land around the house was mainly scrum land and not much use for farming. This painting took me about 20 hours to complete and I'm very happy with the way the picture turned out. There were lots of houses and barns that are shaped like the one in this painting scattered throughout America, some still stand.
The second image is the sheet music and tin whistle notes for the end them of the programme. It's set up to be played on a D whistle.

The theme tune sheet music below is for the end credits of the programme. There are two different pieces of music for The Little House On The Prairie. I have added lyrics to the tune for the simple reason to make it easier to follow. Some musicians find ''tunes'' more difficult to play while reading sheet music, but with lyrics included they tend not to get lost while playing.
