XMas Shopping Lyrics And Chords

Richard Bergin To the tune of The Irish Washerwoman

St.[G] Pat and the Irish are way out of[C] line
I'm[G] X-mas shopping and[C] really feel[D]] fine

But[D] the mall's[G] dressed in green and no red have I seen
And I'm getting[C] frantic it's[D] March seventeen,,,[G]

The Irish I'll bet have a Catholic plot
It snowed this morning but now it is hot
The Irish have stolen all our X-mas snow
There's still almost three hundred shopping days to go

The Fluff in the faux fur I wish she was done
she snapped up the best presents every one
My family will miss out on their X'mas joys
If I cannot buy them the finest of toys

The presents I buy will be trash by years end
But it doesn't matter how much money I spend
I can't stop to talk now, the year it is flying
There's only ten months to finish my X-mas buying

Merry X-mas to you and a fine shopping season
No matter I don't know the why or the reason
That  X-masy feeling is starting to go
I hope when it's X-mas the Irish give back our snow
